Practical farms are now trialling peat reduction in the production of young vegetable plants as part of the ToGeP project.
Green waste compost, wood fibres and coconut pulp are to be used as peat substitutes. Findings from previous projects are already available here, which the ToGeP farms are now testing in horticultural practice.
